Ahmad Yari joins the Gusau solidarity walk for President Tinubu

Ahmad Abdulaziz Yari arrived in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, for a solidarity walk for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu organised by Zamfara youths.

The engagement brought Ahmad to the state capital as an Executive Board Member of the City Boy Movement. It followed his call for participation in the movement's Zamfara gathering and took place amid activities looking ahead to the 2027 political season.

The solidarity walk was organised by Zamfara youths in support of President Tinubu. Ahmad's arrival formed part of the engagement in Gusau, bringing his City Boy Movement responsibility into a public gathering in his home state.

The occasion centred on participation and solidarity. It provided a setting for young people to come together in the state capital and express their support through a shared public activity.

Ahmad's connection to the movement and the state

Ahmad is an Executive Board Member of the Governing Council of the City Boy Movement. He was appointed in August 2026 and subsequently welcomed at the movement's offices.

He is from Talata Mafara in Zamfara State and is the son of Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari, a former Governor of the state who represents Zamfara West in the Senate. The Gusau engagement brought his organisational role together with his ties to Zamfara.

A distinct public engagement

The solidarity walk was a political gathering organised by Zamfara youths. It is separate from the Yari Sport Initiative activities in Kano and from the charitable work of Ahmad Abdulaziz Yari Foundation.

Ahmad's public work includes different responsibilities across those settings. In Gusau, the focus was the solidarity walk, the young people who organised it and the expression of support for President Tinubu.
