How stories, photographs and films are checked before they are published on the official website of Ahmad Yari, and how corrections are made.
This page explains how the office of Hon. Ahmad Abdul'aziz Yari decides what to publish on this website, and what happens when something needs correcting.
1. What we publish
The website records Ahmad Yari's roles, his initiatives, his public engagements and matters that concern him directly. It does not publish the activities of other people, including members of his family, as if they were his.
2. Accuracy
- Names, titles, places and dates are checked before publication.
- Where only the month of an engagement is known, the website shows the month rather than a guessed day.
- Figures are only published where they come from a reliable record.
- Quotations are only published where the words were actually said or written by the person quoted.
3. Roles and relationships
Each initiative page states Ahmad Yari's role in it. Where another person appears in a story, their relationship to him and their part in the occasion are stated plainly.
4. Photographs and films
- Photographs and films show the occasions they describe.
- They are not altered in ways that change their meaning.
- Captions identify people and places only where this has been confirmed.
- Silent clips are presented as photographs in motion, not as recorded remarks.
5. Corrections
If you believe something on the website is inaccurate, tell us through the contact page with the page address and what needs correcting. When an error is confirmed, the page is corrected promptly. Where a correction changes the meaning of a story, the story says so.
6. Removal requests
If you appear in a photograph or film on this website and would like it reviewed, contact us. We will consider every request carefully and respond.
